The setup in a nutshell
One student is failing his professor’s class and cannot keep his eyes off her. She labels it a focus problem and holds him back after class to deal with it, and that becomes a run of private evening lessons. The condition is simple: “Yes, Professor” is all he is permitted to say. At the end of the synopsis his girlfriend catches them together, which brings a third character into the story and signals a reckoning ahead.
Why it works
Its strength is that everything hangs on one rule. That “Yes, Professor” condition hands the series an obvious power dynamic, a recurring motif and a title that works as a catchphrase too. The girlfriend brings consequences, so the five episodes need not repeat one situation over and over.
Only three Candy series carry the Teacher tag, this among them, so anyone set on a classroom angle has a short list to pick from.
The drawback
Professor-and-student is a fantasy that has been done many times, and the synopsis names no one and gives the professor no motive except control. Take away an interest in rule-driven power play and the pitch has little left to offer.
