The setup
The series speaks to you directly, in the second person. On a military base you rank below everyone else, with no one beneath you in any pecking order, and then Sergeant Diana Demont hauls you up from the mud and decides you belong to her. Nobody lays a finger on this commanding officer: her husband is the colonel, and the base and everything on it belong to him. Somehow you alone notice the woman beneath the uniform.
The fantasy runs on power, and the forbidden part comes twice over: she is your superior, and she is the wife of the man who is everyone’s superior. With a hierarchy doubled like that, the series has more tension to draw on than a typical single-situation premise.
Why it stands out
- Where it happens. Most of the catalogue lives in houses, offices and vacation spots. A military base, where rank and orders shape every scene, is an unusual choice.
- How long it runs. Only four series have 15 episodes and this is one of them, so the bond between recruit and sergeant can grow instead of wrapping up in three locked episodes.
- How new it is. YES MA’AM wears Candy’s New tag, which just 11 series carry at the moment.
What the free episodes tell you
Episodes one and two cost nothing and, as on every Candy series, stay suggestive. They are enough to show whether the premise lands for you: whether Sergeant Demont has the commanding presence the story depends on, and whether being addressed in the second person pulls you in. We have not given the series an explicitness rating yet; like everything else on the platform, the locked episodes are adult content.
The cost of all 15 episodes
At the standard 12 tokens, thirteen locked episodes add up to 156 tokens, matching the other 15-episode series. In plan terms that is two months of Candy tokens with 44 to spare, or roughly $6.24 on the yearly plan and roughly $21.84 on the monthly one. Next to a 36-token five-parter it is a serious commitment, though you also get three times the episodes.
Is it for you?
- Go for it if dominant older women, rank and authority appeal to you, along with stories where the balance of power is the whole point.
- Pass if you prefer a short story that wraps up quickly, or if military role-play leaves you cold: here the setting drives everything rather than decorating it.

Our verdict
If most Candy premises blur together for you, YES MA’AM is the one to try. Its military backdrop and doubled hierarchy give it a personality of its own, and fifteen episodes leave room for the power play to build. At 156 tokens it takes real commitment, which is why the two free episodes should make the call: if Sergeant Demont still holds your attention when episode two ends, the remaining episodes earn their cost.
