What the synopsis says
Harlow, a trainer who enjoys control, has chosen the weakest recruit for a one-on-one session at 1800. Skinny and failing, he is not the likely pick. Another woman, who has a thing for him, follows them and discovers what the private hour actually is. She starts by threatening to report them to the captain, then ends up wanting in.
Where the interest lies
It hooks you with its power balance. Pairing a dominant woman with an underdog plainly out of his depth tastes different from the stepfamily secrets crowding the catalogue. A captain and a session booked in military time suggest a regimented, academy-like world, even if Candy never states it outright.
The third character pulls her weight as well. At first she is a danger, a person who could land them both in trouble; by the end she is involved. Going from blackmail to invitation is a modest arc, but many five-parters manage less.
The downside: Candy’s summary gives away almost all of it, the final turn included, so apart from the dynamic there is little left to find out.
