What the synopsis promises
It opens with flirting that seems harmless, between a man and his future mother-in-law. During a holiday at a lake, that turns into an affair neither of them can stop. Then the risk arrives: they are nearly discovered, and unplanned events threaten to drag everything into the light.
Points in its favor
Setting it at the lake was smart. Holidays pack families into tight spaces, the last thing a hidden affair needs, so the danger comes built in. The arc is easy to follow as well, moving from flirting to affair to a close call and then the consequences, which fits neatly into five episodes.
Candy piles on four tags (Milf, Nympho, Taboo and Wife), a hint that she is a willing partner and that a marriage, or an upcoming one, is part of what is at risk.
Where it falls short
The territory is familiar. More than one series in the catalogue uses the fiancée’s-mother setup, and nothing in this synopsis marks it out; “unexpected events” is as noncommittal as a teaser can be. Calling a lakeside trip a “staycation” is odd, too, a minor clue that nobody labored over the premise.
