A premise in one line
You could write the entire pitch on a napkin. Out on an empty desert road, a gorgeous woman needs a ride, and the only man to pull over drives a beat-up pickup and could hardly be more ordinary. Candy offers no more detail than that, so neither will we. The synopsis mentions no twist, no rival and no deadline.
The one thing it does promise is contrast. Candy calls her gorgeous and goes out of its way to call him average. Here the joke and the fantasy are one and the same, and the series looks content to lean into that.
